Our Founder: DR. MERNOY HARRISON
Born in the 1940’s Growing up in the south Dr. Harrison has succeeded against all odds and dedicated his life to education and the youth of our nation. He attended Stanford University on academic scholarship and played basketball. From the start he was active in the community holding many positions aiding youth and their families. He has been a Basketball coach. High school and elementary school teacher and case manager finding resources for families in need for the last 55+ years.
Dr. Mernoy E. Harrison, Jr. is the retired Vice President and Executive Vice Provost for Arizona State University Online and Extended Education. He previously served as Vice President and Executive Vice Provost for the ASU-Downtown Phoenix campus and Executive Vice President for Administration and Finance at Arizona State University after serving as Vice Provost for Administrative Services at ASU-Tempe Campus. Prior to his initial appointment at ASU-Tempe in 1997, he was the Vice President for Administration at California State University, Sacramento for 16 years. Dr. Harrison has also been comptroller at North Carolina Central University, where he taught and also served as the assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and the undergraduate dean.
Dr. Harrison is active in both state and national associations and has served as secretary and chairman of NACUBO (National Association of College and University Business Officers) and as WACUBO’s (Western Association of College and Business Officers) national representative to NACUBO. Dr. Harrison is the 2005 recipient of NACUBO’s Distinguished Business Officer award, the Association’s most prestigious award. He is a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Society for College and University Planning. In 1992 he was elected to the Board of Trustees of Stanford University and served through 1998. Dr. Harrison earned his PhD in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MBA and BS degrees from Stanford University.

PROGRAM MANAGER: YEZLIN WADE
Yezlin D. Wade is a highly accomplished professional with a Masters in Business Administration, concentrating in Project Management, and boasts a decade of experience in providing quality care assistance through leadership, mentoring, and training. She is recognized for her genuine passion for helping others achieve their full potential , coupled with a reputation as a dependable, organized, and respected team player who instills pride, structure, and ownership in all her projects. Her excellent communication skills also enable her to forge positive connections across diverse age groups and backgrounds.
Yezlin’s extensive professional background demonstrates a strong commitment to community-focused initiatives and program development. As a Program Manager at Maximum Family Care LLC, she develops proposals for statewide contract opportunities, manages agency contracts, and ensures programs meet contractual requirements. Her responsibilities also include developing programming based on awarded contracts, training and supervising staff, implementing processes and procedures, and collaborating with the State of Arizona and community entities. Previously, as a Quality Assurance Coordinator & HIPAA Compliance Officer at Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division, Yezlin served as a primary contact for agencies providing care coordination to youth and young adults, fostering relationships with system partners, and implementing evidence-based programs for individuals with mental illness, substance issues, or co-occurring disorders. She also conducted program evaluations, provided training and leadership, and performed audits related to contractual violations and HIPAA compliance.
Her career also includes significant roles such as a Grants Coordinator for the State of Arizona Department of Education, where she managed and reconciled over $400 million in child nutrition program grant reimbursements and conducted statewide training. Furthermore, as a Parent Aide/Supervised Visitation Compliance Officer for the State of Arizona’s Office of Procurement, Contracts, & Compliance, Yezlin managed and oversaw contracts, conducted extensive audits to ensure compliance, and provided technical assistance to both internal departments and providers. These roles highlight her expertise in contract management, compliance, program oversight, and a consistent dedication to supporting vulnerable populations and improving community services.
